The Practical Test

You will be asked to describe and show the examiner how you would carry out safety checks on the vehicle. You must be able to show that you can drive safely independently with confidence, put the Highway Code into practice and complete a set of exercises such as reversing round a corner, turning in the road, reverse parking, and emergency stops (which are carried out at random). Your examiner will assess andy errors you make on a test report form. You will fail your test if you commit a serious or dangerous fault, you will also fail if you commit more that 15 faults.

You will need to show your driving licence or photo identity before taking any test.
